Golden Shore Red Willow Bay Ecological Park is situated in Huinong District, Shizuishan City, at the northernmost part of Ningxia. Bordered by the surging Yellow River to the east and the majestic Helan Mountains to the west, it boasts exceptionally favorable geographical conditions. The park currently focuses on developing projects such as a happy farm, a leisure fishing garden, an outdoor sports camp for youths, an ecological restaurant, a self-drive tourism campsite, a hotel, a children’s water park, team-building training, a wedding venue, and goji berry cultivation and processing. It serves as a comprehensive ecological park integrating leisure vacations, sightseeing, cultural and artistic exchanges, folk heritage promotion, dining, accommodation, and agricultural experiences. With its distinctive eco-agricultural layout, well-developed supporting facilities, and a rich variety of rural tourism activities, Golden Shore Red Willow Bay Ecological Park has won the affection of local residents and tourists from both within and outside the region, pioneering a new trend in leisure agriculture and rural tourism in the area. The park has hosted numerous large-scale leisure events and competitions, including the “Ningxia-Inner Mongolia Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Grand Gathering,” the “Huinong Golden Shore Red Willow Bay Ecological Culture Year,” and the “First Shizuishan ‘Golden Shore Red Willow Cup’ Leisure Fishing Competition.” Since 2014, the park has welcomed over 100,000 visitors annually, helping more than 200 local farmers increase their income and directly employing over 80 locals. It has become the top choice for rural tourism and agricultural experiences among residents of Shizuishan City and neighboring cities such as Inner Mongolia. The park has been recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China and the National Tourism Administration as a “National Demonstration Site for Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism,” awarded the title of “Presiding Unit” by the Shizuishan Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Association, designated as a “Five-Star Agritainment” establishment by the Autonomous Region Tourism Administration in 2014, honored as a “Cultural Industry Demonstration Base” by the Autonomous Region Department of Culture, and named a “National Five-Star Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Enterprise” by the National Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Association (the first in Ningxia).
