The Banqiao Taoist Temple is an Autonomous Region-level Cultural Heritage Protection Unit of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

The Banqiao Taoist Temple is located in Banqiao Township, Litong District, Wuzhong City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

On September 15, 2005, the Banqiao Taoist Temple was designated as part of the third batch of Autonomous Region-level Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Banqiao Township: Banqiao Township gets its name from a wooden bridge over the Qin Canal. It is located about 5 kilometers southwest of Litong District, Wuzhong City. The Yinping Highway runs east-west through the township, while the Shizhong Expressway intersects southward within its boundaries. The ancient Qin Canal flows from west to east along the northern edge of the township, bringing the benefits of Yellow River irrigation and making it one of the commodity grain base townships in the irrigation area. The township stretches 6 kilometers from east to west and 4.1 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 24.6 square kilometers, with arable land spanning 1,332 mu.
