Wuzhai Nature Reserve

Located in the Luya Mountain within Wuzhai County, the mountain features towering peaks that resemble sprouting reeds. This high, rugged mountain is covered in dense forests and boasts stunning scenery. It is home to over a hundred species of rare animals, including the brown eared pheasant, sika deer, and leopard — all globally rare species — making it a comprehensive nature reserve for both flora and fauna. In addition, there are more than ten scenic and historic sites, including Nanfengtai, Wuwangcheng, the ruins of Wuzhou City, the Tomb of King Kaiping, the memorial archway in Sancha, and the stone memorial archway in the county town.
