The Qinghai Provincial Land and Resources Museum is a science education base.

Location: Xining City, Qinghai Province.

Introduction: The Qinghai Provincial Land and Resources Museum is affiliated with the Qinghai Provincial Department of Land and Resources. Established in 1956, it was formerly known as the Qinghai Geological and Mineral Exhibition Hall and the Qinghai Geological Museum. It was rebuilt between 2002 and 2003 and officially opened to the public in April 2004. The museum currently houses 1,700 specimens and displays 280 of them, with exhibits divided into four sections: land resources, mineral resources, earth science popularization, and natural tourism resources. The museum integrates the collection of physical land and resource specimens, specialized research, and social education. It serves as a professional institution for promoting Qinghai’s land and resources, providing science education and provincial awareness, as well as a window for the outside world to understand and learn about Qinghai.
