The Qinghai Tibetan Culture Museum is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Qinghai Tibetan Culture Museum is the first cultural tourism destination in China that adopts modern exhibition concepts and presentation philosophies, making full use of advanced technology and multimedia to comprehensively introduce the history, culture, art, religion, and folk customs of the Tibetan people. It is a museum that integrates knowledge, fun, visual appeal, and interactivity, and is filled with a dreamlike sense of mystery and strong sensory impact. As a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, it is located by Lotus Lake in Lushar Town, Huangzhong County, Xining City, Qinghai Province—less than 1 kilometer from the sacred Tibetan Buddhist site of Ta'er Monastery. The Tibetan Culture Museum and the ancient Ta'er Monastery complement and enhance each other from afar.

The Tibetan Culture Museum presents the magic of the snowy plateau, the long history of the Tibetan people, and the mystique of Tibetan Buddhist culture in ways that are accessible, multi-dimensional, and dreamlike for modern audiences.
