Gansu, China, April 19 (Xin Bao) — The First Xinglong Mountain Rock Climbing Competition in Yuzhong County will commence on May 1, marking the official start of the longest-running, most diverse, and most widely participated culturalandtourism event, which will continue until mid-February 2013.
To ensure the smooth running of the rock climbing competition, the organizers have allocated 3 million yuan to improve infrastructure both inside and outside the competition venue. A total of 2,000 competitors from across the country will take part in the rock climbing competition, which features men’s, women’s, and children’s categories, with awards for each.
