Discover the vibrant charm of Zhongxian County—fun and excitement this midsummer in 2010

This year’s “Midsummer Fun Couples Tour Festival” promotes the elements of “cycling” and “fine steeds” from the Two Horses culture, combined with “gourmet food,” while also linking up with the long-established “Taichung County Musical Instruments Festival.” The event is rich and diverse, further integrating with the “Zhongxian Easy Go Package Tour Program,” warmly inviting the public to experience the beauty of Zhongxian County. The package tours are divided into: Route A – Dongshi and Guguan Tour, Route B – Cycling Green Excursion, Route C – Music & Fun Tour, and Route D – Summer Sea Breeze Fun, offering large buses, guided tour services, and free entry to tourist attractions. It is suitable for family outings.

For those who prefer flexible independent travel, you can check out the weekly highlights. The events start on July 9 with the Taichung County Cycling Around Taiwan Promotion Team, advocating for tourism in Zhongxian; from July 17 to 18, a Food & Travel Carnival will be held at Houli Horse Ranch; on July 18, a Cycling Joy Ride will take place at the Horse Training Center of Houli Horse Ranch; from July 24 to 25, the “Giant Cup National Bicycle Race” at Dajia Iron Anvil Mountain invites everyone to step outdoors and enjoy the scenic beauty of Zhongxian County; and those interested in local specialties can join the Zhongxian Specialty Sales Exhibition held from July 9 to 11 at Fengyuan Pacific Sogo Plaza and Pingtung Pacific Sogo Plaza, as well as from July 16 to 18 at Shuanghe Pacific Sogo Plaza.

During the event period, there is also the “Happy & Healthy Zhongxian, Travel Lottery Bonanza.” Anyone holding an event raffle ticket can get their tickets stamped at various tourist attractions and the event stamp before July 24 to enter the lucky draw, with a chance to win major prizes such as electric scooters and bicycles.
