Gari Monastery is a cultural tourism attraction.

Introduction Gari Monastery is located beside Quanwan, just over a hundred meters from Qinghai Lake. The main hall of the monastery is entirely built with stone slabs, closely resembling Tibetan architecture found in southern Qinghai and northwestern Sichuan. The Mani Prayer Wheel Palace is half-buried underground, making it a major attraction here. Being in this place and turning the massive prayer wheel gives one a feeling of being detached from the worldly realm.

The area features lush grasslands, springs scattered across the land, and a highly typical wetland landscape. In the height of summer, you can take in the view of emerald-green grassy hills and the deep blue waters of the lake; in the depths of winter, the frozen Qinghai Lake becomes crystal clear, with large flocks of swans taking off and landing here, creating an exceptionally beautiful and magnificent scene.
