Guide Solitary Rock Mountain, also known as Three Rocks, is located in the southwestern part of Qinghai Lake, 8 kilometers south of the lakeshore and 20 kilometers northwest of Bird Island.  Introduction Composed of reefs, gravel beaches, and sand ridges, Three Rocks stretches about 700 meters from east to west and approximately 150 meters from north to south. The southern slope of the reef is relatively gentle, while the northern side features steep cliffs. The island has sparse vegetation, with only a few species such as lamb's quarters and Artemisia dubia growing in the gaps between rocks, covering less than 5% of the area. It is one of the islands in Qinghai Lake with the highest concentration of migratory birds.
