Tianshui Bingling Temple is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a cultural heritage site.

Bingling Temple, located ten kilometers south of Tianshui City in Gansu Province, was first built during the Yuan Dynasty. Over the years, as dynasties rose and fell, the original incense offerings have long since faded, and the faithful have gradually grown sparse. The pagoda courtyard has been ravaged by wind and rain for ages. Yet the seeds of Buddhism remain, and enlightenment is ever-present—how could centuries of decline sever its connection with all beings? Thus, in 1993, a monk named Xinnian came from Mount Wutai to Qinzhou, reaffirmed his purpose, and began raising funds to rebuild the temple. It now boasts considerable scale and great appeal. The temple complex is built along the mountainside, ascending with the terrain and extending into the forested foothills. It includes five main halls, three pagoda courtyards, and over thirty monastic quarters.
