Yaojiayuan Park in Beijing
Yaojiayuan Park in Beijing is located within Yaojiayuan Village, Pingfang Township, Chaoyang District. It is a park invested in by the village collective, managed by villagers, and serves the local community. Established in 1998, the park covers an area of approximately 70,000 square meters. The surrounding environment is pleasant, with small earthen mounds built on both sides of the east and west entrances. Inside the park, there are two pavilions that offer shade in summer, making it a great place for villagers to relax and enjoy leisure activities.
After five years of improvement, the trees in Yaojiayuan Park have grown into scenic landscapes, and the facilities have become increasingly complete, attracting nearby residents. To accelerate rural urbanization and development, the park has also promoted nationwide fitness activities to enhance the spiritual and cultural life of villagers. New fitness equipment and related facilities have been added to the park, including not only recreational areas but also swimming zones and office spaces. The village plans to continue investing in further improvements. Every day, elderly people can be seen exercising in the morning and young people jogging for fitness. Flowers adorn every corner of the park.
