Escape rooms, also known as TAKAGISM, are a type of puzzle game in which players usually need to find clues within the game to gradually escape from a locked room. The gameplay is relatively simple—just using a mouse—and the entire experience takes place within a single room. Over time, real-life escape rooms have become very popular. Participants are locked in a sealed room and, through reasoning and judgment, gradually discover new clues to find the final information needed to unlock the room and escape. Real-life escape rooms are now widespread in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, and have also expanded to many second- and third-tier cities.
