Qiling Mountain

The Qiling Mountain range is located in the southwestern part of Pingding County, starting from the southern bank of the Tao River, extending southeastward along the county boundary, and ending on the western side of National Highway 207. It serves as the boundary mountain between Pingding County and Shouyang County as well as Xiyang County. Major peaks include Hushen Mountain (1,324.4 m), Hushen Temple Rock (1,394.7 m), Pando Rock (1,343 m), Diaowuling (1,495 m), Qi Qianzhai (1,529.9 m), Houcheng Ridge (1,446.3 m), Madao Ridge (1,337.5 m), Lotus Mountain (1,087 m), and Yaoling Temple Mountain (1,160 m). The mountain range is mainly composed of sandstone and shale.
