Liubei Mountain

Liubei Mountain

A branch range of the Northern Mountain Range. It extends southeast from Shuicaoshan, passing through Lüyinnao (1,369 meters), Miaoliangshan (1,363.9 meters), Liubei Mountain (1,272.5 meters), Changganliang (1,144 meters), and ending at Sijiaoshan (1,115 meters). It forms the watershed between the Tao River and the Wen River, and the mountain is composed of sandstone and shale.

1. Luoyan’ao. Located at the boundary between the eastern part of Shaping Subdistrict and Pingtuan Town in the suburbs, it has an elevation of 1,369 meters and belongs to the Liubei Mountain Range. The mountain is high in the middle and low on the north and south sides, with most of its body exposed, except for parts of the summit and some gully slopes covered with loess.

2. Lijiashan. Located at the boundary between the western part of Saiyu Subdistrict and Pingtuan Town in the suburbs, it has an elevation of 1,364 meters and belongs to the Liubei Mountain Range. The mountain features steep terrain, crisscrossing ravines, and a landscape that is higher in the northwest and lower in the southeast. Its body is covered with gravel and loess.

3. Laohuhuayan Ridge. Located in Qiaotou Subdistrict, it belongs to the Liubei Mountain Range, is higher in the northwest and lower in the southeast, and has multiple coal seams outcropping in various places.
