Taolin Gully is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Taolin Gully, an ancient name, derives from the fact that in ancient times, the valleys and ridges here were covered with peach trees, hence the name "Taolin Gully." Stepping into the Taolin Gully scenic area feels like entering the “land of idyllic beauty” with “lush fragrant grass and falling petals in riotous profusion,” as depicted by Tao Yuanming, the great literary figure of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The Taolin Gully Ecological Park has developed a thousand-mu peach garden and is now an ecological tourism area integrating entertainment, leisure, sightseeing, and fruit picking. The Peach Blossom Festival is held annually in mid-April, using flowers as a medium and the festival as a gathering to welcome visitors from all directions to enjoy the spring scenery and admire the blossoms. The Taolin Gully scenic area includes attractions such as the Peach Blossom Pillars, Peach Blossom Source Park, Waterfront Homes, and Agricultural Sightseeing Garden. While experiencing fruit picking and savoring delicious cuisine, visitors can also enjoy the sights and sounds of birds and rare animals. Peacocks, Lady Amherst’s pheasants, pearl chickens, and king pigeons, among other rare birds, are on free display for citizens in the gardens. Additionally, Peach Blossom Source Park mainly features native tree species, with a rational mix of trees, shrubs, and grasses, and a rich application of ground covers and perennial flowers. It also introduces rare tree species such as the southern kapok tree and century-old local pines, creating a lush, shaded, and seasonally diverse vegetation landscape that is both ecological and ornamental, with a strong sense of rhythm, and achieves flowers in three seasons and evergreen foliage in four. In short, this is a vibrant and thriving rare plant garden where fine trees abound.
