Category: Tourist Attractions 👁 100 views
Century Fountain Square is located northeast of Fireworks Square, stretching 200 meters from north to south and 80 meters from east to west, covering an area of 20,000 square meters. It was constructed by incorporating artistic concepts and technologies from France, Italy, the United States, and other countries. The square features nearly 600 nozzles of various types, including cannons and cedars. At its center, the “Century Water Gate” is a towering fountain structure composed of 322 water jets and 32 underground fountains, creating a three-dimensional interplay of water sprays in all directions. Eight “cannon” fountains shoot water up to 10 meters high and span 30 meters, directly aiming at the central “Century Water Gate.” On both sides of the fountain pool, there are additional features such as cedar fountains, spray-path fountains, mushroom fountains, and rainbow water curtains. Together with the “Century Water Gate” and the eight “cannon” fountains, they form a breathtaking world of fountains that is a feast for the eyes. To the north of the fountain pool stands the Fountain Viewing Platform, which is 3 meters higher than the pool. On the platform lies a row of two-story curved European-style buildings, 16 meters high and 60 meters long.
