Introduction: Located in the pristine, humid rainforest 20 kilometers east of Mengla County, there stands a 40-70 meter tall Parashorea tree. The “Canopy Walkway” built on this tree spans a total length of 2.5 kilometers, connecting the virgin forests on both sides of the highway. It offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the wonders of the tropical rainforest. In addition, a stone-paved walking trail over 1,000 meters long has been constructed in the forest, forming a three-dimensional circular tour route that combines both above and below the forest canopy.

Special Reminder: Due to the long distance and fewer visitors, the natural scenery here is well preserved. There is also a lovely open-air mountain spring swimming pool. The water is clear, cool, and constantly flowing in a circulating system. Many locals bring their children to swim here, so if you enjoy swimming, remember to bring your swimsuit. Also, there are no food outlets nearby, so please bring your own snacks.

Transportation:

Take a bus from Jinghong Passenger Transport Station to Mengla (ticket: 29 RMB), then take a rickshaw to the Armed Forces Department (1 RMB), and finally take the Canopy Walkway shuttle bus to reach the site (ticket: 10 RMB).

1. Take a bus from Jinghong City to Mengla County. The round-trip shuttle bus costs 100 RMB, or hire a private car for 400–500 RMB.
