Green Stone Forest Rainforest Park is located in Menglun Town, Xishuangbanna, just 1 kilometer away from the world-renowned Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden. The park boasts a beautiful natural environment and is said to be the dwelling place of the legendary Princess with Fragrant Hair. It is also a typical convergence area of tropical rainforests and monsoon forests.

"Forest above and stone forest below" is a major wonder of the park, where various uniquely shaped plants grow on the exposed rocks, and all kinds of vines intertwine, creating a truly fantastical sight. Notable attractions within the park include "strangler plants," tree waterfalls, large buttress roots, the Thread Cave, River-Viewing Rock, and Wild Elephant Rock, all of which are highly distinctive and breathtakingly beautiful. The area holds multiple world records—such as the richest water resources, the highest biodiversity, and being the northernmost boundary of the world’s tropical rainforest climate zone. The park is home to hundreds of species of wild animals, including white monkeys, long-tailed leaf monkeys, white-lipped deer, bear macaques, gibbons, and various bird species. With a forest coverage rate of 90%, it is known as a "natural botanical garden."

The park's development is mainly based on the unique and beautiful geographical and natural environment of its pristine forest nature reserve, as well as the special ethnic cultural and historical characteristics of Xishuangbanna. It has been designed as a comprehensive tourist destination integrating natural, ethnic, and modern styles.

Within the scenic area, rolling mountains, cascading waterfalls, and winding green stone paths allow visitors to walk down mountain trails to the banks of the Luosuo River, where they can take a traditional Dai bamboo raft and float downstream to the Xishuangbanna Tropical Rainforest Botanical Garden.

Menglun Town: Located in the northwest of the county seat, Menglun Town lies between 21°50′–21°59′N latitude and 101°00′–101°25′E longitude. It borders Yiwu Township to the east, Mangguo Township to the south, Xiangming Township to the north, and meets Jinghong County’s Mengan and Jinuo townships to the west.
