Hongguan Dalin Scenic Area, located in Yianxin Village, Hongguan Township in the western part of Zunyi County, is 70 kilometers from the historic city of Zunyi and lies on the “Ren, Xi, Chi” Golden Tourism Route. The scenic area stretches 5 kilometers from east to west and 2 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 10 square kilometers. It features 13,800 acres of forest rich in diverse flora and fauna, as well as expansive alpine grasslands at the mountaintop. The terrain of Hongguan Dalin is higher in the south and lower in the north, with elevations ranging between 1,400 and 1,500 meters. Several mountain streams flowing down from the mountaintop divide the scenic area into a landscape of peaks and valleys. The main valleys, from west to east, are: Chuanfengdong Valley, Xiajiadong Valley, Gaoluchang Valley, Houzi Valley, Liangchaha Valley, Yangjia Valley, and Majia Valley. Each valley branches out in a feather-like pattern, with spring waters converging, streams and underground flows interweaving, and cascading waterfalls following one after another. These features cut through gorges and valleys, creating naturally beautiful scenery. It serves as a natural park on the outskirts of Zunyi City and is an ideal summer retreat destination.
