Dalongtan Park

Dalongtan is located at the foot of Wangji Songlin Dadi and Tangjia Mountain on the southeastern side of Guiding County’s Chengguan Town, about one kilometer from the county seat. Originally a drinking water source, it had a small number of facilities such as a pumping station.

It is currently contracted to an individual operator who receives a small number of visitors. At the central outlet of Dalongtan, there are two springs — one spring is subterranean karst cave water connected to the surface, with significant variations in flow rate and water quality. Just a few feet to the south lies a fissure karst spring, which has pure, clear, and sweet-tasting water. The presence of two springs with different water qualities and flow rates at the same location — known as “Twin Dragons Emerging from the Cave” — is extremely rare. This phenomenon is sure to bring vitality and inspiration to the people of Guiding County, and stands as a valuable tourism resource and treasure for the county.
