The Shuanggu Leisure Agriculture Tourism Demonstration Site in Fuquan City is located in Shuanggu Village, Jinshan Subdistrict Office, Fuquan City, 6 kilometers from the city center. It focuses on premium fruit cultivation and poultry farming under forest cover, supplemented by rural tourism such as flower and seedling cultivation and farmhouse stays. It is a rural tourism demonstration site that centers around agricultural activities, folk culture, flower viewing, fruit tasting, and leisure vacations.

In recent years, our city has followed the construction concept of “integrating agriculture and tourism, promoting agriculture through tourism, and strengthening agriculture with tourism.” We have intensified efforts to attract investment, actively integrated departmental project funds, and invested 100 million yuan to complete infrastructure construction at the Shuanggu Leisure Agriculture Tourism Demonstration Site. This includes the main gate, management facilities, main roads, Pear Blossom Square, water landscape features, parking lots, facade renovations of farmhouse courtyards, mountain bike trails, sightseeing paths, farm roads, service roads, observation decks, and tourist toilets. Currently, there are 12,000 mu of pear orchards, 3,000 mu of grape vineyards, 2,000 mu of bayberry gardens, 500 mu of oil peony fields, 2,000 mu of flower and seedling bases, and 200,000 poultry raised under forest cover.

Within the Shuanggu orchards, visitors can enjoy the flowers in spring, cool off in summer, pick fruits in autumn, and explore snowy landscapes in winter. There are 11 scenic spots (Yulong Ridge, Beipo Orchard Farm, Matang Orchard Farm, Ten-Thousand-Mu Orchard Farm, Yejiayuan Orchard Farm, Shangzhai Orchard Farm, Lishu Orchard Farm, Bayberry Garden, Grape Vineyard, Orchard Farm Division One, and Orchard Farm Division Two), along with over ten farmhouse restaurants. Every March, when tens of thousands of pear blossoms bloom, the “Golden Valley Spring Snow” Pear Blossom Tourism and Culture Festival and a series of related events are held here. These feature ethnic musical instrument performances such as “Pear Orchard Melody,” Yang Opera shows, ethnic costume exhibitions, bird-fighting competitions, folk singing contests, essay competitions themed on pear blossoms, fruit tree adoption programs, trade talks, displays of specialty agricultural products, investment attraction events, and bonfire parties. The beautiful natural surroundings and high-quality hospitality attract visitors from all directions, leaving them enchanted and reluctant to leave.

The Shuanggu Leisure Agriculture Tourism Demonstration Site is primarily developed by the Jinshan Subdistrict Office. While steadily upgrading its infrastructure, the office is also enhancing the quality of services related to travel, shopping, entertainment, dining, accommodation, and activities. Additionally, it is actively planning the “Golden Valley Spring Snow ● Flower Sea Shuanggu” leisure agriculture and rural tourism initiative. In early August, this demonstration site will serve as one of the sub-venues for the State-level Tourism Industry Development Conference.
