I didn’t expect the NPCs for Counter-Terrorism and Biohazard to be the same group... an incredibly talented and good-looking bunch. At first, it felt a bit like Biohazard, but this scenario was also really fun to watch. The beginning was quite entertaining—it was definitely unexpected, and every player had a great experience. One thing worth mentioning is that the designed passageways are fantastic. Several of the doors or rooms had very creative ways of opening, but I can’t quite remember the final part... it mostly involved running fast. The Biohazard part was pretty average. After experiencing all four themes, I’d say Counter-Terrorism and Biohazard are like twin themes, while Ancient Tomb is more of a standard theme, and Assassination is a rather unique one that doesn’t quite feel like a traditional escape room. Honestly, I’m not that interested in the Counter-Terrorism storyline—I just came to check it out. The only suggestion I have is to improve the soundproofing; otherwise, it really affects immersion. Also, the NPC acting was excellent—I’d love to see more interaction.

【Biohazard】

This was my second time playing. Seven of us, and two were doing it for the second time.

Clever me started acting along with the NPCs, though I didn’t do it very well.

Biohazard is that kind of surreal, far-from-reality scenario that makes you want to come back again and again. Once you’re immersed, you can’t pull yourself away—you’re left in awe and can’t stop thinking about it. In fact, just from the Biohazard theme alone, you can see how unique and clever TFS’s escape room designs are. The use and design of space also completely refreshed our idea of what an escape room could be.

Looking back on both experiences, each time felt like stepping into another world. I don’t know why this theme affected me so deeply or why I fell in love with this imaginary world.

I’ve said that playing escape rooms gradually feels like escaping reality and stepping into a virtual world. In the end, it’s all about seeking unique experiences. I’ve never tried VR. I think it’s only by calming your mind and fully immersing yourself in the scenario that you can truly grasp the existence of the characters within the story world depicted by the escape room. When playing Biohazard, my mind was completely clear of distractions.
