Kejia Haizi Natural Karst Lake Cluster Scenic Area

The Kejia Haizi cluster is one of the three major natural karst plateau lake clusters in Guizhou Province. It is located between the southern part of Qianxi County and the Zhiga’alu Lake Scenic Area, and consists of dozens of natural karst lakes of varying sizes and depths. The lakes are situated close to each other, spaced no more than 1–2 kilometers apart. With crystal-clear, blue-green waters and no industrial pollution, the area is surrounded by dense pine forests that create a lush, picturesque landscape. It is a rare natural karst lake cluster in China, offering high scientific research and sightseeing value, as well as significant potential for tourism development. The project area comprises the Gongjia Haizi Lakes cluster section and the Dahai Haizi Lakes cluster section, and includes the tomb complex of Li Shijie, a military minister from the Qing Dynasty, covering a total area of approximately 18 square kilometers. In addition to its natural scenery, the area also boasts rich cultural resources such as Shuixi culture, historical heritage, and ethnic minority culture. The development of scenic spots can be carried out either as a whole or in phases, making investment and development convenient. The project area is 7 kilometers from Qianxi County and 124 kilometers from Guiyang, the provincial capital.
