Just above Maoshuitang lies the Triple Bridge on the Bridge — quite a peculiar name, isn’t it? Unlike other natural bridges that are single, solid stone formations, this one is made up of three sections. On the left and right are two stone outcrops extending from the cliff, forming the bridge’s left and right sides. The strangest part is the massive central rock. It looks like a wedge that fell from the sky, and this wedge happens to be larger at the top and smaller at the bottom. The spot where it descended and inserted itself just happens to be the gap in the middle of the bridge. Moreover, the inserted central rock is not completely solid — it’s hollow inside, allowing people to walk through, thus forming a bridge atop the bridge.

Transportation

There are direct shuttle buses from Anshun South Bus Station for the “Anshun–Huangguoshu” route. Get off right at the entrance of the Huangguoshu Ticket Hall, then take a minibus from within the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. It takes about 20 minutes to arrive.
