Root-Seeking Rock in Huangguoshu

On this cliff face grow three small trees: two slender-leafed banyans at the top and one alpine banyan at the bottom. They sprout from cracks in the soil-less rock surface. The remarkable vitality of these small trees reflects the tenacious adaptability of plants in the "karst forest" environment.

Transport

There are direct “Anshun–Huangguoshu” shuttle buses from Anshun South Bus Station. Get off right at the Huangguoshu Ticket Hall entrance, then take a minibus to the site from within the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The ride takes about 20 minutes.

Ticket

No separate ticket required; it is included in the general admission ticket for the Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area.
