Rashomon Themed Experience Hall (Bird’s Nest Flagship Store)
Rashomon Escape Rooms have made rapid progress in Beijing, evolving from small-scale setups to large, comprehensive, high-end experiences. Their design standards and service levels have improved steadily, which players have clearly noticed.
The Rashomon Bird’s Nest store has a great location near the Anli Road subway station, with a large sign visible right from the roadside. I tried out their newly designed theme, which fits perfectly with Hu Ye’s design style—featuring creative spatial aesthetics, smooth and theme-tight original scripts, dynamic mechanical challenges, and a blend of whimsical storylines and interior elements. The overall experience flows very naturally with good pacing, moderate difficulty, no illogical traps or cumbersome steps. Moreover, the transitions that create an immersive sense of “crossing” are smooth and meaningful, without any abruptness. The design is quite bold and impressive—I personally love it. Also, the final confrontation segment is cleverly integrated with excellent balance. I can’t reveal too much here, but you’ll discover the mystery behind the final showdown when you come to experience it yourself.
There are also large-scale CS laser tag games, name-tag tearing games, party games, and other popular activities. Famous deduction board games like “Death Wears White” can also be played here. Highly recommend Rashomon.
