Sun Bay Scenic Area
The Sun Scenic Area is located to the northwest of Chengdu, 76 kilometers from the city. It lies within a national forest park, a national geopark, and a national nature reserve. The altitude ranges from 1,100 to 4,200 meters. The area boasts well-preserved vegetation and rich biodiversity, and has become a popular destination for nature tourism due to its unique landforms, abundant flora and fauna, spectacular natural phenomena, and profound ancient Shu culture.
