Dahan Village is situated east of Mengyang Town, bordered by Nansheng Town of Guanghan City to the east, Sanwan Village to the west, Nanfo Village to the south, and Tiantian Village to the north. It lies 20 kilometers from downtown Pengzhou and spans an area of 3.5 square kilometers. The village governs 9 residential groups, comprising 638 households with a total population of 2,380. The village has 80 Communist Party members, 2 probationary members, 23 households receiving subsistence allowances, 7 individuals under the Five Guarantees program, 45 people with disabilities, and 2,470.13 mu of arable land. With superior natural conditions, abundant water sources, mild climate, ample rainfall, fertile soil, and unpolluted water, soil, and air quality, the ecological environment here is excellent—making it an ideal area for developing pollution-free vegetable farming. The village’s economy primarily relies on planting and breeding industries, which also serve as the main sources of rural income.
