Pengzhou Museum

Pengzhou Museum is located at No. 403 Jinpeng West Road, Pengzhou City, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, covering an area of 5,400 square meters. It was built in 1993, designated as a Pengzhou Patriotic Education Base in 2004, and rated as a National Third-Class Museum in 2009. The museum is currently open to the public free of charge.

The museum houses a collection of over 5,000 cultural relics (sets). Dating from the Shang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, these artifacts span more than 3,000 years of Pengzhou’s history. The collection features a wide variety of items from different historical periods, including bronzeware from the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, gold and silverware from the Song Dynasty, Han Dynasty pictorial bricks, ceramics from the Tang, Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties, as well as ancient calligraphy and paintings from the Ming and Qing dynasties onward.
