Huashuiwan Hot Springs is located at the foot of Xiling Snow Mountain in Dayi County, Chengdu, Sichuan. Surrounded by mountains and covered in lush greenery, the area boasts beautiful scenery, a warm winter and cool summer, and a pleasant climate. The Huashuiwan Hot Springs tourism area is a comprehensive destination integrating travel, sightseeing, health therapy, vacation, leisure, commerce, conferences, adventure, and entertainment. The hot springs were formed during the ancient geological shifts of the Sichuan Basin and were discovered more than 2,800 meters underground. With water temperatures reaching up to 68°C, they are rich in rare minerals such as sulfur, iodine, lithium, metaboric acid, and sodium chloride (ancient seawater), offering significant medical and health benefits. Health department tests have confirmed that the springs meet international and domestic standards for composite medicinal mineral waters.

Transportation

Take a bus from Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station, Chengbei Passenger Transport Center, or Chengdong Bus Station to Dayi, then transfer to a local shuttle to Huashuiwan. The fare is around 7 RMB. Chengdu Jinqiao Bus Station operates buses to Xiling Snow Mountain daily from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a stop at Huashuiwan Hot Springs en route.

From Chengdu, take the Chengwen-Qiong Expressway (toll road, free for vehicles with Sichuan A license plates) – pass through Jinma, Yangma, and Chongzhou – exit at Dayi South Toll Station – turn right at the Shell gas station intersection, then right again onto Dashuang Road – proceed via Heming Mountain to Huashuiwan.
