The Strange Stone Forest is located within the Xiling Snow Mountain scenic area, where a large cluster of oddly shaped stones is nestled among spruce trees. Various sizes of spruce and fir trees grow among the rocks, creating a unique landscape where stone births forest and forest intertwines with stone. In the distance underground, there are also many sinkholes, ice caves, and tunnels, adding to the eerie atmosphere.
