Du Fu Pavilion at Xiling Snow Mountain

The Du Fu Pavilion is not man-made but was naturally formed when lightning struck and shaped an ancient tree, creating a strikingly lifelike resemblance. Legend has it that the spirit of Du Fu returned to the snow mountain, and on autumn and winter days, amidst the bleak winds, one can faintly hear the sound of poetry being recited.

By Car

Chengdu – Take the Chengwenqiong Expressway, exit at Dayi and transfer to the Xiling Snow Mountain Huashuiwan Tourist Expressway – Dayi-Shuangliu Road via Heming Mountain (Dao Yuan Sheng Cheng) – Huashuiwan Hot Spring Resort Town – Xiling Town (turn right) – Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort (total distance approximately 110 km)

By Bus

1. Take a direct bus to Xiling Snow Mountain from Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station. Departure times are 9:00 and 9:30, fare is 33 RMB per person, journey takes about 2.5 hours.

2. From Chengdu Jincheng Bus Station to Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort: two direct buses depart at 9:00 and 12:00, both go straight to the ski resort.

3. Chengdu Jincheng Bus Station – Dayi Bus Station (average of one bus every 10 minutes); Dayi Bus Station – Xiling Town (every 20–30 minutes), passing through Heming Mountain and Huashuiwan Hot Spring Resort Town, arriving at Xiling Town; from Xiling Town to Dafeishui Scenic Area / Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort, you need to arrange transport on your own.
