Beijing Red Army Park

Red Army Park was officially launched with strong support from relevant departments and veteran Red Army soldiers, aiming to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Long March by the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, honor the great achievements of revolutionary martyrs, and carry forward the revolutionary traditions of the Red Army. The park is situated within the Shuangqiao Farm and Heizhuanghu Township Forest Park in Chaoyang District, Beijing. Its overall design is divided into two parts: The first part is the Patriotic Education and Revolutionary Tradition Area, which includes a central square featuring statues of great leaders, stone carvings inscribed with calligraphy from Party and state leaders as well as veteran Red Army soldiers, a sculpture group of renowned Red Army soldiers themed “Long Live the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army,” a stele corridor displaying brief accounts of Red Army deeds and physical exhibits, as well as miniature landscapes of famous historical sites from the Long March. The other part is a comprehensive recreational area integrating tourism, entertainment, and leisure.
