Front Mountain of Qingcheng Mountain

Qingcheng Mountain is divided into the front mountain and the back mountain. The front mountain is the main part of the Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area, where Taoist culture and historical relics are mostly concentrated.

Qingcheng Mountain is located southwest of Dujiangyan City in Chengdu, about 68 km east of downtown Chengdu.

① Chengdu to Qingcheng Mountain

By bus:

1. Take a direct bus to Qingcheng Mountain from Chadianzi Bus Station in Chengdu. Buses depart between 8:00 and 10:00, with a fare of around 28 RMB per person.

2. Take a bus to Qingcheng Mountain (Back Mountain) from Xinnanmen Bus Station in Chengdu. Buses run between 7:30 and 14:30, departing every 30 minutes, with a fare of around 22 RMB per person.

By train:

Chengdu North Railway Station offers intercity express trains to Qingcheng Mountain. Between 6:32 and 20:17, there are 16 trains daily. The fare is 15 RMB per person, and the journey takes about 40 minutes. After getting off, you can take bus No. 101 or 102 directly to Qingcheng Mountain.

② Qingchengshan Town to Qingcheng Mountain

By bus: Qingchengshan Town has loop buses No. 101 and 102 that go to Qingcheng Mountain, Dujiangyan, and other places. Just ask the driver to make sure the destination is Front Mountain of Qingcheng, then get on. To go from Front Mountain to Back Mountain, a taxi ride costs around 10 RMB.

Admission Fee

The ticket for the Front Mountain of Qingcheng Mountain is 90 RMB per person. The cable car is 35 RMB one-way and 60 RMB round-trip; the sightseeing bus is 5 RMB, and the boat ride on Yuancheng Lake is 5 RMB.
