The landscape construction of Dujiangyan Water Culture Square covers an area of 10.7 hectares. The entire project primarily highlights water features, presenting an ancient, profound, and uniquely distinctive water culture square. It incorporates planting culture and stone culture landscapes related to water management and utilization, creating a modern yet culturally rich, high-taste, and high-quality urban central square.

The square is located in the city center, where three irrigation canals—the Baitiao River, Zouma River, and Jiang’an River—flow through the urban area. Additionally, a main urban thoroughfare runs east-west, dividing the site into three sections.
