Puyang Xinglong Bridge

Puyang Xinglong Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Sichuan Province.

Puyang Xinglong Bridge, located in Puyang Town, Dujiangyan City, spans the Huazi River. Built during the Republican era, it runs from south to north and features an all-wooden structure with one pier and two arches. The pier is made of stone. Each end of the bridge is equipped with seven stone steps. The bridge frame adopts a post-and-lintel wooden construction, with a double-eave, hanging-hip roof covered in small blue tiles.

Protection Area: An additional 10 meters beyond the occupied site.

Construction Control Zone: An additional 20 meters beyond the protection area.

Puyang Subdistrict: The Dujiangyan Irrigation System is a no-dam water diversion miracle that has been irrigating the region for over two thousand years and continues to function today. Renowned worldwide, it was officially inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in November 2000.

Puyang Town is located in the eastern suburbs of Dujiangyan City, just 6 kilometers from downtown Dujiangyan. The town covers an area of 28.5 square kilometers. It enjoys a subtropical humid climate typical of the Sichuan Basin, with an average annual temperature of 15.2°C, annual rainfall of 1243.8 mm, 269 frost-free days, and top-tier air quality.
