Dongyangjiayao Bao is situated in Group 9, Fengqi Village, Yutang Town, Dujiangyan City, Chengdu, Sichuan, within a hilly and low-mountainous area, and covers a distribution area of 1,390.62 square meters. It was a celadon kiln site dating back to the Tang and Song dynasties. The small ring-footed bowls found around the kiln mound exhibit typical Song Dynasty styles. The main types of artifacts consist of ceramics and kiln tools, with a small number of pottery items. Ceramics include vessels such as bowls, plates, ewers, bowls (basins), jars, and basins, with bowls being the most common. Glaze colors include green, yellow, white, light green, and brownish-red, with green being the most prevalent. The glaze surfaces often feature fine crackles. Kiln tools comprise pads, cylinders, rings, supports, and strips, among which cylinders and supports are the most frequently found. The Yutang Kiln Site holds significant importance for studying the commodity circulation and cultural exchange between the Chengdu Plain and the northwestern Sichuan Plateau, as well as the interactions between the Han ethnic group and the Tibetan-Qiang peoples in Sichuan. It is also recognized as one of the birthplaces of underglaze color firing, boasting considerable historical and scientific value.

It lies within the Sichuan West Tourism Loop and near Baojing Avenue. The village’s Woniushan Mountain connects with “God of Wealth” Zhao Gong Mountain. To the north, it borders Baima Village, approximately 1 kilometer from Panda Valley; to the south, it reaches Zhongxing Town; to the east, it neighbors Xinsheng Village and adjoins the CITIC Golf Sports Park, about 6 kilometers from the city center—boasting a highly advantageous location.
