The boundary marker of the eastern edge of Xikang Province is carved into the cliff face in Jinji Village, Beijiao Town. The five characters “西康省东界” (Eastern Border of Xikang Province) on the marker are composed of five individually recessed, horizontally inscribed Regular Script characters inlaid into the cliff. The marker is 5 meters long and 1.28 meters high. The left inscription reads “Constructed in the 28th Year of the Republic of China” (1939), and the right inscription reads “Inscribed by Liu Wenhui.” The commemorative inscription consists of two bluestone slabs inlaid to the south of the “Eastern Border of Xikang Province,” measuring 1.86 meters long and 1.1 meters wide. The text, written in vertically arranged Clerical Script, is recessed and contains over 400 characters.
