Bagu Village Fortress

Located 3 kilometers west of Nanqiang Village in Jiepai Town, it was first built in the 10th year of the Xianfeng reign during the Qing Dynasty. The fortress is elliptical in shape, covering an area of 8,792 square meters, with seven surviving gun emplacements on its walls. The fortress gate has an arched top, constructed from flagstones measuring 1.03 meters in length, 0.52 meters in width, and 0.41 meters in thickness; the fortress walls are built with flagstones that are 1.3 meters long, 0.36 meters wide, and 0.3 meters thick. A pair of round carved stone lions, each standing 2.3 meters tall, are located at the northern corner of the fortress.
