Former Residence of Luo Shiwen

The former residence of Luo Shiwen is a cultural relic protection unit of Sichuan Province.

The former residence of Luo Shiwen is located in Luojiawan, Jiefang Village, Xiangyi Town, Weiyuan County. The entire Luojiawan compound covers an area of about 10,000 square meters. Originally the ancestral temple of the Luo family, also known as "Liuyitang," it was the home of Comrade Luo Shiwen, the first Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and a renowned revolutionary martyr. The residence faces northeast and is situated southwest, featuring a brick-and-wood structure with a traditional courtyard (siheyuan) layout. Main Hall: post-and-lintel beam framing, four spans using nine pillars, 15.8 meters wide with three bays, 8.8 meters deep with one bay, overall height of 8 meters, now collapsed; base is plain with a height of 1.2 meters, featuring six steps of a straight ramp. Front Hall: post-and-lintel beam framing, three spans using five pillars, 14.9 meters wide with three bays, 6 meters deep with one bay, plain base with a height of 0.2 meters.

Protected area: 10 meters beyond the boundary of the site.

Construction control zone: 30 meters beyond the protected area.
