Former Site of the Underground Party Meeting in Guojia Cave

The former site of the underground party meeting in Guojia Cave is located in Yangjiazui Village, Zhenxi Town, Weiyuan County. The Guojia Cave faces east and is shaped like an arc, measuring 20 meters in height, 60 meters in width, and 40 meters in depth, with earthen houses at the cave entrance. It is currently abandoned and unoccupied.

The cave is spacious and deep, extending three levels underground. It is relatively hidden and situated in a strategically challenging terrain, with an ancient settlement originally located above the cavern and an escape route built inside. Between 1928 and 1929, the underground party in Zhenxi Town held multiple party meetings here. In 1948, the Guojia Cave Party Branch was established to organize the “Rongwei Uprising,” and during March of that year, two training sessions for key members of the “Peasant Uprising” were conducted on-site. It holds significant revolutionary commemorative and cultural heritage value.
