Yuanxiang International Herb Garden

The Yuanxiang•International Herb Garden project is located in Yangjia Town, Fucheng District, Mianyang City, 13 kilometers from the city center, with convenient transportation. The herb garden is a modern high-tech sightseeing agricultural park and an increasingly mature tourist resort destination. The scenic area is composed of four major sections: the Herb Vacation Zone, Purple Sea Yuanxiang Resort, Folk Culture Commercial Street, and a new-style rural community. The Herb Vacation Zone serves as the core demonstration area of the project, covering 3,366 acres. The park cultivates over a hundred fragrant plants such as lavender, verbena, salvia, and rosemary. The vast purple sea of flowers created by expanses of aromatic plants and numerous woody ornamental species showcases the landscape value of natural fragrance, offering visitors a profound sensory and spiritual experience through smell and sight.

The scenic area currently features a children’s amusement park—the largest of its kind in northwestern Sichuan—covering 130,000 square meters. Fifty-seven adult and children’s amusement facilities were successively opened during the 2015 Spring Festival. A provincial-level all-terrain vehicle sports base has been established within the scenic area. An exotic and trendy wedding photography outdoor base has also been completed. The China Sichuan Wedding Culture Creative Park, centered around Yuanxiang Town, is set to fully launch its one-stop wedding service operations. The company plans to further improve supporting facilities, plan landscape planting, diversify business offerings, and enhance operational management.

Future planned investment and construction projects include twenty-four sub-projects such as a senior care home, featuring a youth summer camp base, Yuanxiang Art Gallery, Aromatic Plant Museum, Incense Culture Museum, Herb Research Institute, and a nighttime light show.

The herb garden is dedicated to creating a sky of herbs where Eastern and Western cultures converge, blending the classical with the fashionable. It infuses landscapes with deep cultural meaning. At the same time, it incorporates visitor-participation models centered on novelty and fun—such as dinosaur eco-parks, circus performances, and farming culture—as interactive experiences beyond herb landscape sightseeing.
