The Shiyang Jiuhuangshan Yuanwang Cave is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Shiyang Jiuhuangshan Yuanwang Cave Scenic Area is situated in Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Mianyang, Sichuan Province, China, with geographic coordinates at 104°43’ east longitude and 31°89’ north latitude, and at an altitude of 2,095 meters. It is the largest high-altitude karst cave in southwestern China and a famous tourist cave in western China. The scenic area spans thirty square kilometers and is designated as a provincial-level scenic tourist area and a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit.

The Yuanwang Cave Scenic Area consists of several parts, including a high-altitude karst cave group, a cliffside golden skywalk, mountain tea houses, primeval forests, and ancient Qiang cultural sites. The renowned Yuanwang Cave is a rare high-altitude karst cave complex in southwestern China. Within a 4-square-kilometer area around the Yuanwang Cave, there are 23 uniquely featured caves, such as Yan Yun Cave, Ganlong Cave, and Lianyu Cave. Inside Yuanwang Cave, there are hundreds of magical landscapes with varying styles, such as “Beads and Jade Strings,” “Pearl White Jade Tower,” “Stone Forest Charm,” “Jade Pool Grotto Heaven,” and “Cliff Stone Harp.” These surreal and dreamlike views have earned the cave the nickname “The Dreamy Palace – The Huanglong Beauty within the Cave.” Yuanwang Cave has become a comprehensive tourist destination integrating scientific research, ancient culture exploration, sightseeing, summer retreat, conferences, mountaineering, and Qiang ethnic culture tourism. It offers 450 star-rated hotel beds and can accommodate up to 300 people for meetings, dining, and lodging simultaneously.
