Tangjiashan Barrier Lake is located in Xuanping Township, Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County. It is one of the most beautiful earthquake relics formed by the "5.12" Wenchuan Earthquake. The lake covers a total area of 5 square kilometers, stretches approximately 40 kilometers in length, and holds 230 million cubic meters of water. Surrounded by green mountains, the lake features lush grass along its shores, crystal-clear blue waters, and breathtakingly beautiful scenery in a comfortable and pleasant climate.

Xuanping Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Beichuan County. Established as Xuanping Township in 1935, it was reorganized as a commune in 1958 and became Xuanping Qiang Ethnic Township in 1986. Located in the southern part of the county, it is 7 kilometers from the county seat. It covers an area of 123 square kilometers and has a population of 9,000. The Chengmen-Aba Highway and the Xuanping-Jinfeng Highway intersect here.
