The Temple of the Deer's Call is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Temple of the Deer's Call. During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, Wang Jian once served as the Prefect of Bizhou, and later declared himself King of Shu in Chengdu. In the third year of the Qianhua era of the Later Liang dynasty (913 AD), a qilin was spotted on Bisshan Mountain, followed by two more, prompting the establishment of this temple. In the early years of the Huangyou era of the Song dynasty, Prefect Hu Mian recorded the story, stating: “Whenever the court issues major decrees or officials are promoted or dismissed, the deer would cry out. If the call comes from the sunny side of the mountain, it signals good fortune; if from the shaded side, it signals misfortune — the omen proves as accurate as a charm.”
