Shifozi Cliff Grottoes

The Shifozi Cliff Grottoes are a Sichuan Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

The Shifozi Cliff Grottoes are located in Shekou Village, Tiefu Town, Tongjiang County. Dating back to the Tang Dynasty, they are classified as a grotto temple and rock carving site.

In 2019, the Shifozi Cliff Grottoes were designated as part of the ninth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.

Protected area: Centered around the rocks where the grottoes are distributed in Area A, extending 100 meters eastward, and 30 meters outward to the south, west, and north.

Construction control zone: A 20-meter buffer zone extends outward from the boundary of the protected area.
