The Deng Family Ancestral Hall is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Deng Family Ancestral Hall is located in Group 3, Tianjing Village, Guandu Township, and was built by the Deng family. The house was completed in the 24th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty. The structure features a unique design, with the main hall, side rooms, and wing rooms forming three stacked levels, creating a pleasing variation in height. The central hall boasts upturned eaves and bracket sets, with colorful paintings on the beams and clearly visible ink inscriptions. Four large pillars support the roof rafters, creating a spectacular and distinctive sight. Carvings and paintings such as “Joy on the Eyebrows,” “Prosperity and Happiness,” and “Two Dragons Holding a Longevity Symbol” can be seen throughout. The carving techniques include openwork, piercing, and round carving, or a combination of these. The central beam of the main hall often features designs such as the Taiji symbol or auspicious entwined floral patterns.

The residences in Guandu are typically arranged in either a three-sided or four-sided courtyard layout. The steps and courtyards in front of the houses are meticulously planned, varying in width but generally around 3–4 meters, allowing space to set up tables for events. The carvings and paintings on the buildings are exceptionally exquisite. They not only demonstrate the technical skill of the craftsmen but also reflect their artistic sensibility.
