The Colorful Buddha Niche Scenic Area is located in Bazhou District, Bazhong City, covering an area of 18.5 square kilometers and situated 20 kilometers from downtown Bazhong. It lies adjacent to the Badaxi, Hanbayu Expressways and the Badaxi Railway, serving historically as a key transit hub connecting northern Qinlong with southern Chongqing and Guizhou, and is reputed as the “First Gateway to Bazhong.”

The scenic area boasts rich resources and distinctive industries, with its most renowned attractions being the Colorful World Park, Shuining Temple Grottoes, Henrun · Buddha Niche Peach Garden, and Ruili Manor. In the Colorful World—enjoy cascading water features, lakeside cycling, leisure fishing, and playful amusement—it's endless fun. In the specialty agricultural park, sunflowers, roses, lilies, and lotuses bloom competitively, while strawberries, peaches, and bayberries offer delicious sweetness, filled with the flavors of the countryside. The scenic area also shines with its red culture—the handwritten inscription by Marshal Xu Xiangqian reading “Bazhong County Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base Historical Exhibition Hall” still remains to this day. The area is also steeped in history, with the East Niche Shuining Grottoes being the most representative, listed as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the State Council.

The Colorful Buddha Niche Scenic Area organically integrates modern agriculture, traditional culture, and tourism markets. It has successively developed attractions such as farms, Wuwei Vegetable Garden, water play and fish catching, lake fishing, and hundred-fruit orchards, and launched a variety of comprehensive tourism programs including strawberry picking festivals, peach blossom festivals, fun farmer sports meets, and rural life experiences. The Colorful World is the Bazhou Ecological Agriculture Science and Technology Demonstration Park in Sichuan, located in Qingjiang Town, Bazhong City at the southern foot of the Micang Mountains in the Daba Mountain range. Nestled within undulating, lush Jinzi Mountain, the park enjoys a beautiful, tranquil environment with fresh, pleasant air. It is conveniently located just 25 kilometers from downtown Bazhong.
