Yunyang Three Gorges Cultural Relics Park

Yunyang Three Gorges Cultural Relics Park is located in Zhaiba Village, Shuangjiang Town, covering an area of 24.15 mu, with a total investment of 16 million yuan. The eleven cultural heritage sites within the park were originally situated below the 175-meter water level before being relocated. Due to their significant historical value, they were collectively planned and designated as relocated and replicated preservation projects by the State Three Gorges Construction Committee and the National Cultural Heritage Administration.

The relocation project began in December 2000, and all relocation work was completed by the end of 2008. From 2009 onward, greening projects and thematic exhibition arrangements were gradually improved, and the park officially opened to the public on October 1, 2009. Thanks to the attention and support of leaders at all levels, and through eight years of dedicated work by cultural heritage professionals, the eleven historic sites have been preserved in their original style and are now collectively displayed here. This can be considered a generous gift to the people of Yunyang.
