Longshan Fort

Longshan Fort   Located on the southern bank of the Yangtze River in Changshou District, Chongqing. It is about 15 kilometers from the main urban area of Changshou District. It is a scenic tourist area that combines natural landscapes with cultural history. The birthplace and burial site of Ba Gufu Qing, an ancient and notable historical figure from Chongqing, is located within the scenic area. Ba Gufu Qing was a native of Jiyi Jili Township (now Jiangnan Town, Changshou District, Chongqing) during the late Warring States period to the Qin Dynasty, and Sima Qian wrote a biography of her in “Records of the Grand Historian: Biographies of Merchants.”
